In this classic study, Dr Sabrina Lei, one of the insightful European
Muslim philosophers, offers an illuminating biography of Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh). With an inclusive language and a special
chapter devoted the unique aspect of the Prophet’s (pbuh)
personality, the biography presents the Prophet (pbuh) as the true
heir of the Prophets such as Abraham, Moses and Jesus (peace be
upon all of them), completing their mission, by carrying the message
of the Quran, rooted in the oneness of God, peace, mercy and
justice. Classical Muslim sources like Ibn Ishaq’s Sirah, Ibn Saad’s
Tabaqat and Hadith works of Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, along
with modern sources, have been consulted in the production of the
book.
